Flex Player Privacy Agreement
Welcome to Flex Player (hereinafter referred to as "this Product")! We understand the importance of personal privacy to you and always prioritize the protection of your personal information security and legal rights. To clearly and accurately explain how we collect, use, store, protect, share, and transfer your personal information when you use this Product, as well as your rights with respect to your personal information, we have established this "Flex Player Privacy Agreement" (hereinafter referred to as "this Agreement").
Please carefully read and fully understand all terms of this Agreement before using this Product, especially those regarding the scope of information collection, usage methods, sharing rules, your rights, and limitations of liability.
I. Information Collection
We collect your information based on the principles of "lawfulness, propriety, and necessity" and will not collect irrelevant information beyond what is necessary to achieve the product's functions and service objectives. The specific types and methods of information collected are as follows:
(1) Personal Information You Do Not Need to Provide
When you use the core video editing and playback processing functions of this product (including but not limited to basic functions such as video editing, video format conversion, and video playback), you do not need to register an account. Therefore, we will not actively collect your name, phone number, email address, home address, ID number, bank account information, or other sensitive personal information that can directly identify you.
(2) Device Information and Usage Data We Automatically Collect
To ensure the normal operation of this product, optimize product performance, enhance your user experience, conduct product statistical analysis, and troubleshoot, we will automatically collect the following information related to your device and usage behavior through technical means when you use this product:
Basic device information: including but not limited to your device's unique identifier (such as IMEI, MEID, Android ID, IDFA, OAID, etc.), device model (such as iPhone 15 Pro, Huawei Mate 60 Pro, etc.), device brand, device manufacturer, device operating system version (such as iOS 18.0, Android 15, etc.), system language (such as Simplified Chinese, English, etc.), device screen resolution, device memory size, device storage space size, network type (such as Wi-Fi, 4G, 5G, etc.), network operator information, device time zone, etc.
Usage behavior data: including but not limited to the specific time you use this product (e.g., first launch time, each launch time), your access history (e.g., access and exit time, usage duration), functional modules used (e.g., video editing, video merging, video playback, excluding the video content played), operation history, and product error information (e.g., error time, error code, and related logs, used for troubleshooting and repair).
II. Location Information Collected Based on Your Authorization
Purpose and Scope of Collection: If you wish to use the personalized location services provided by this product (for example, recommending videos tailored to your region, localized video processing tools or services, etc.; specific service content is subject to the actual product offering), you can choose to enable your device's positioning function and authorize this product to access your location information. In this case, we may collect your approximate location information (typically based on network IP address or cell tower information, with relatively high accuracy, such as city-level). We will not collect precise location information that can pinpoint your specific residence or real-time whereabouts unless specifically requested by the product and with your separate authorization.
Your Control: You have the right to enable or disable authorization for this product's location information access at any time through your device's system settings or the relevant permissions settings within this product. Once you disable authorization, we will immediately stop collecting your location information without affecting your use of other non-location-based core features of this product.
III. Information Not Collected
We explicitly promise that we will not collect your sensitive personal information, such as your biometric information (e.g., fingerprints, facial recognition data), bank account information, credit information, medical and health information, social network information, etc., without your explicit authorization. We also do not collect your local video content (except for temporary caching on your device for video processing. After processing, this information will be deleted according to your settings or product default rules and will not be uploaded to our servers for storage, unless otherwise specified).
IV. Use of Information
We collect your information only to enable the functions and service purposes of this product, in compliance with laws and regulations and this Agreement. Specific usage scenarios are as follows:
Core Service Provision: The information we collect is primarily used to provide you with the video services you require, including but not limited to video editing (e.g., video trimming, adding filters, watermarking, and video merging), video format conversion (e.g., MP4 to AVI), video playback, and video management (e.g., renaming and deleting videos). This ensures that you can use the various services of this product normally and smoothly.
Service Maintenance and Troubleshooting: By collecting device information, usage behavior data, and error information, we can promptly identify any failures, vulnerabilities, or anomalies that may arise during the operation of this product and conduct technical investigations and repairs to ensure product stability, security, and availability, minimizing the inconvenience caused by product failures.
V. Information Sharing
To provide you with enhanced products and services (such as server hosting, cloud storage, data analysis, and customer support), we may share certain necessary information with third-party service providers, but only to the minimum extent necessary to deliver specific service functionality. For example, to conduct statistical analysis of product usage data, we may share non-personally identifiable information (de-identified) such as your device model, system version, and the types and frequency of feature usage with data analytics service providers. To provide you with customer support, we may share your contact information (such as email address) and problem description with customer service system service providers (for the sole purpose of enabling customer service personnel to resolve your issue). We will sign strict agreements with third-party service providers to clearly define their information protection responsibilities and obligations, and will oversee their information handling practices to ensure the security of your information.
VI. Changes to the Agreement
We reserve the right to modify or update this Agreement based on updates to national laws and regulations, adjustments to product and service features, and changes in user needs. Any changes to this Agreement will be subject to the following rules:
